Kiera the Dog needs a home

This stunning girl is Kiera! Keira is a 4 year old Catahoula Leopard dog who is looking for a home who can offer her everything this breed needs!


Kiera has been in the same home since she was a puppy, and they have done an outstanding job with her, she happily lives with another dog, cats, and a child. She is looking for a new home due to no fault of her own, sadly her current mom (who loves her very much) had a life altering accident last year and cannot take care of Kiera in the manner she needs.


Kiera weighs about 80 lbs, and she knows it, she loves walks, but she will pull, and will need an adopter who can put in the daily effort this girl needs.


Kiera is up to date on her vaccines and is heartworm negative and current on her heartworm prevention.


She does LOVE to be outside, so a home with a large fenced yard would be good for her, but as long as she gets daily walks it is not mandatory.


Although she does happily live with other animals now, she is a dominant girl and we would not recommend she be placed in a new home with other animals.


Please take a look at some info on the breed if you are not familiar with Catahoula's, they are not right for everyone, but they are really wonderful dogs for the right person!
